Coach | Mom of 5 | Hybrid Athlete | Mountains and all the FoodWhitney is a NASM certified personal trainer, elite-level OCR (obstacle course racing) competitor, and hybrid athlete with a passion for helping others transform their lives. Her journey from someone with zero fitness knowledge to a thriving, strong, and resilient athlete and coach gives her the unique perspective and empathy to guide others from real-life application.Growing up without a background in sports, health, or role models, Whitney found herself stuck in as a busy mom, struggling with her own weight and feeling confused about health—nutrition was a black hole and she hated fitness (especially running), but had big ambitions. This personal revolution happened later in life; starting from scratch while juggling family, work, life, and her own identity. Whitney's journey took an unexpected turning point when she decided to really push herself and do the hardest, craziest thing she could do—a Spartan race. She found the hybrid training demands of an OCR competitor at a pro level was her favorite and enveloped all the fun, diversity, endurance, and strength for true functional fitness. The rest is history there as far as winnings and podiums go, but through perseverance and consistency, those changes rippled to all facets of her life and into a powerful lesson— that weaknesses can become your strengths! She has loved being able to relate, connect, and inspire others to what ultimately led her to becoming a coach.Whitney and her husband have been married for 17 years and raising their 5 beautiful kids (human children she birthed herself), ranging from ages 4 to 16. Through this life adventure, Whitney understands the importance of commitment, partnership, support, and balance both in fitness and life. Beyond the full-time job that is motherhood, her 12 years of active experience as an EMT and evolving athletic goals have fueled her passion for health, longevity, and empowering others. These experiences drove her to create lasting change in her own life that have shaped her coaching style—one that blends resilience with compassion in guiding clients to break through perceived limits and unlock potential in pursuit of a stronger, healthier lifestyle.Today Coach Whitney works with everyday athletes, busy moms, women, professionals, and youth, focusing on sustainable practices, building strength, endurance, and cultivating a healthy resilient mindset to navigate life with more stamina, purpose, and confidence.Whitney has also been a major foodie and baker since childhood and loves to embrace what life has to offer. As an athlete, she believes in balance—not deprivation—fueling and making food choices that support performance, recovery, and overall health for body and soul without sacrificing the simple joys of great eats.A Colorado native, when she's not balancing her family, work, and life demands, Whitney is an avid outdoor enthusiast who finds peace and strength in the mountains. It's here, at high altitudes (preferably above 9k feet), that she feels at home and where much of her own training physically and mentally, takes places. And always snacks involved.
