About the Event

Moonlight Hike Series Experience the magic of hiking under the moonlight with our guided Moonlight Hike series! Each month, we’ll explore a different scenic trail, enjoying the tranquility and beauty of the outdoors after sunset. **Hike Schedule:** - **May 12:** Mushroom Rock in Carbondale – 7:00 PM - **June 11:** Jeani Goalay Trail in Glenwood – 7:00 PM - **July 10:** Storm King Trail in Canyon Creek – 7:00 PM - **August 9:** Mount Sopris (Thomas Lakes Trailhead) – Optional overnighter. We’ll camp at Thomas Lakes and hike to the treeline for a breathtaking moon view. All hikes (except August 9) begin at 7:00 PM and are suitable for a variety of fitness levels. The August 9th adventure offers a special opportunity to camp overnight and experience the moonrise from above the treeline. Bring your headlamp, water, and a sense of adventure! Join us for one or all of these memorable moonlit journeys.
