About the Class

ChopFit is a full-body strength training workout with a cardio component depending on skill level and exercise options are chosen. Chopping exercises can build powerful core strength and rev up the metabolism, mirroring patterns found in everyday life and practically every sport. The class is beginner-friendly. Exercise options will be given for both novice and experienced exercisers. Currently, we are using 4lb axes; the load can be adjusted to feel like anywhere between 4 and 16 pounds depending on hand positioning. A heavier axe option will be available soon.
