About the Class

OPEN GYM IS: A time to explore for all. If a member wanted extra time on obstacles to drill what we went over in class, someone looking to try the gym’s obstacles and get a feel for it, someone to look step out of their comfort zone, or someone looking to try a new sport. A staff member is there for your safety. OPEN GYM IS NOT - A personal training session or for taking advantage of a staff member’s time. Staff members can give you instructions or demonstrations, but are there for everyone’s safety. If you are interested in learning specific techniques or how to conquer an obstacle please schedule a 1 on 1 or an intro class. It is not a time to drop kids off unsupervised. See next question. AGES We recommend visitors as young as 5 and up. Younger visitors (17 and under) MUST BE SUPERVISED BY A GUARDIAN. Please understand, while we strive for the safety of all, that we simply cannot be responsible if the child is left unattended by their parent or guardian. The facility has a lot of moving parts to it and we try to minimize the risk of injury and accidents as much as possible. For the safety of everyone, please follow all rules. This is training facility with lots of people flying, swinging, running, and jumping. We can’t watch the little ones as they require more attention than older participants. WHAT SHOULD I BRING ? We recommend bringing: A good attitude, an open mind, Hydration, Liquid Chalk, Sweat Towel, Face Mask (optional) Gloves (optional), different pairs of shoes if possible. *We Require Shoes In Our Gym* WHAT SHOULD I WEAR? This is a GYM setting. PLEASE WEAR GYM/ATHLETIC ATTIRE. We do not have HVAC in the gym. We do have 4 small fans and 2 industrial large fans. Make sure you dress comfortable and prepare to sweat. Tennis shoes are Required. For example, New Balance Fresh Foam Zantes, NB Pursuit, NB trainers, etc.  DO NOT WEAR OPEN TOED SHOES, CROCS, SLIP ONS, SANDALS, BOOTS, DANCE SHOES, ETC.
