About the Event

4th+5th Grade Academy (Skills • Concepts • Game Play) Our 4th+ 5th Grade Academy is designed to build a strong foundation while introducing players to how the game is actually played. Each session blends skill development, decision-making, and live play, helping athletes grow with both confidence and understanding. Players will work on: Ball handling and control under pressure Shooting mechanics and shot confidence Footwork, finishing, and scoring moves Passing and spacing fundamentals Beyond skills, athletes will begin learning key basketball concepts, including: How to move without the ball Basic spacing and floor awareness 1v1 and small-sided decision-making Introduction to team play and simple reads Every session includes game-based play (1v1, 2v2, 3v3) so players can apply what they learn in real time — not just drills. Our goal is simple: 👉 Help players develop real skills, understand the game, and build confidence in a fun, competitive environment.
