Yoga recognizes the inherent connection between mind, body, and breath. Yoga Therapy introduces the application of breathing, mindfulness and, if necessary, adaptive movement techniques to support your ability to identify strength, stability, restfulness, and composure. This is a client-centered approach based on personalized assessment, goal setting and lifestyle management through the scope of yoga to support health and well-being. Yoga Therapy is for anyone who may be experiencing stress, anxiety, pain, or simply seeking to deepen their sense of self. Sessions include techniques shown to support, manage or reverse the effects of such experiences for you, and to practice on your own as needed! Mats, blocks and blankets are provided. No prior experience or special clothing necessary to participate. These sessions are trauma-informed and open to all.
