Yin & Nidra is a deeply restorative class combining Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra, designed to release tension from the body while calming the mind and nervous system. The Yin portion focuses on long-held, passive poses that target deep connective tissues, joints, and fascia, improving flexibility and joint health. The class then transitions into Yoga Nidra, a guided meditation practice often referred to as “yogic sleep,” which promotes profound relaxation and mental clarity. This class is ideal for anyone experiencing stress, fatigue, tightness, or mental overload. Class Benefits: • Increases flexibility and joint mobility • Releases deep muscular and fascial tension • Calms the nervous system and reduces stress • Improves sleep quality and mental focus • Supports emotional regulation and recovery Beginner Friendly: Extremely accessible. No prior yoga or meditation experience required. FITT Class Policies: • Barefoot training is recommended; NO shoes are allowed on the mat • Late arrivals will not be permitted once class begins • Please arrive at least 10 minutes early for every class—your 1st through your 1000th+ • Check in on the FITT Livonia app or at the front desk upon arrival • Inform your coach before class begins of any injuries, limitations, or modification needs • Please bring a yoga mat; blocks, straps, layers, and a blanket are highly recommended Please log in 5-10 minutes before class time to ensure you have your yoga mat set up and ready to go before class starts.  This livestream is meant to be CAMERA OFF - you will not be able to see the other yogis, or the coach, and will be following along with the coach guiding you with their voice on what to do.
