Pridetopia: Mermaid Pole Performance Series 🧜‍♀️✨ April 22nd – May 27th Wednesdays | 6:15–7:30 PM In The Loft 6-Week Small Group Series | Level 2+ ✨ 1 person per pole guaranteed ✨ Dive into Pridetopia — a vibrant, underwater fantasy where self-expression, fluidity, and power collide. This 6-week performance-based choreography series invites you to embody a mesmerizing mermaid character while collaboratively building a dynamic group routine for our May 30th showcase. Throughout the series, you’ll explore choreography, doubles/partner work, transitions, musicality, and character development, all while building confidence and stage presence. The goal is to create a fully realized group piece that highlights individuality within a cohesive, magical ensemble. Expect a blend of flow, floorwork, spins, and expressive movement, with an emphasis on storytelling and teamwork. You’ll be part of a pod — moving together, supporting each other, and bringing the world of Pridetopia to life. Students will also receive a 5 Pack of Open Pole credits to practice on their own time before the showcase.  ✨ Performance-focused training ✨ Build confidence, musicality, and stage presence ✨ Learn choreography, transitions, and partner work ✨ Train alongside the same small group each week ✨ Guaranteed pole time for every student No performance experience required. Structured progression week to week More personalized instruction Consistency and accountability Dedicated time to build and refine choreography Train alongside the same small group each class Prerequisites Pole Level 2+ or minimum 6 months of consistent pole training Ability to climb, perform basic spins, and foundational transitions Strong team-player mindset and openness to collaboration Commitment to all 6 weeks, plus: Dress Rehearsal: May 29th at 8:00 PM Performance: May 30th at 8:00 PM Important Policies This is a 6-week commitment; enrollment covers all classes in the program A minimum of 6 students is required for the program to run Program is capped at 8 students to maintain small-group focus and 1 person per pole Due to the performance nature of this series, attendance at all sessions is strongly required One missed class may be allowed on a case-by-case basis, but no make-up credits are guaranteed Program enrollment is not eligible for drop-ins or single-class use Come ready to transform, connect, and perform — and bring the magic of Pridetopia to the stage 🐚💫
