During a Styku scan, you will stand on a turntable as it rotates a few times. As the turntable moves, a highly calibrated scanner will take 600 infrared images. These images will come together in a 3D model that includes your entire body composition. In addition to body composition, Styku can measure postural imbalances and asymmetries in 3D with far more accuracy and consistency than the human eye. It also measures body circumference. It then uses a complex equation to calculate body fat percentage accurately. The results of the Styku 3D body scanner parallel that of a DEXA scan. We use all of this information to develop a highly personalized training plan just for you.
To ensure accurate results, we kindly request that you wear fitted clothing or be prepared to proceed in undergarments only. Upon setup of the scanner, your instructor will exit the room, ensuring your 3D scan takes place in the privacy of our dedicated treatment area.
