About the Class

Strength + Conditioning is our signature Grassroots Fitness Project class. Full body, functional movements including a combination of lower body (squats, deadlifts, lunges, kettlebell swings), upper body (pushups, Overhead presses, pull-ups, rows), and core movements. Equipment used will vary every day, including a combination of dumbbells, kettlebells, medicine balls, rower, jump rope, and plyometric boxes. Circuits are created using, but not limited to AMRAPs, EMOMs, and Tabatas. This class has strength and metabolic components. Experience lifting weights is preferred, but not required. We always recommend a personal assessment before taking any class. However, if that is not possible, we ask that all participants at least come physically healthy, as this is still a class and wholesale modifications cannot be made.
