FUTURES (Grades 6–8) Introduction to Strength and Skill Progression Futures is designed for middle school athletes who are ready to progress beyond general movement into skill-based strength development. Athletes begin to train with kettlebells, dumbbells, and are introduced to barbell training in a controlled, educational setting. This class bridges the gap between play-based development and structured strength and conditioning, with a focus on enhancing neuromuscular control, movement adaptability, and physical literacy. Primary Emphases: Controlled strength development with light resistance Introduction to barbell technique Reactive agility and speed drills Injury prevention and joint stability Building a foundation for long-term athletic success
