**IMPORTANT** If you sign up for a CrossFit class without experience, we will ask you to schedule an on-ramp one on one session with a coach (will occur at a scheduled date) or take one of our available Mecka classes. You will NOT be allowed to take class without experience. Experienced is defined as 3 or more months at a registered affiliate. Please email us at info@meckafitness.com to drop into our facility (please include current or most recent previous affiliate AND months/years experience). CrossFit workouts are comprised of constantly varied functional movements (like pushing, pulling, squatting, lifting, running) executed at high intensity. At CrossFit Mt. Lebanon, you will not find any machines – instead, you will find kettlebells, barbells, medicine balls, sleds, and tons of open space for running, jumping, climbing, lifting, and throwing. The workouts themselves are completely scalable, which means that a new participant and a CrossFit veteran can complete the same workout with changes in load and intensity.
