Intro to Pole Static

About the Class

*Beginner Friendly/All-Level. No previous dance experience is necessary. Shorts Required. Heels are welcome, but not required.  This class is perfect for newcomers and beginners to Pole Dance Fitness. The Intro to Pole experience will allow each student to develop a strong foundational skill set and the necessary groundwork it takes to develop strength and comfort with the pole. This class focuses on Static pole, which means the pole does not move/spin on its own. We will begin each class with a strength-based conditioning warm-up. We will cover pole walks, basic spins, pirouettes, body rolls, simple transitions, and floorwork.

Special Instructions

Attire: Shorts are required for grip, skin-to-pole contact is needed. A comfortable top - tank top/t-shirt type shirt and/or sports bra are great options. No body lotion/oil on the day of class, and absolutely no metal wrist/hand jewelry, fit bit, or apple watches.
