Dances with Lyra
About the Class
Put those lyra skills you've been practicing to work! Come learn some fun choreography, which we'll build on week-to-week, changing it up every month or so. Learn how to bring it all together with seamless transitions, musicality, and creative expression. We may also work on developing your own transitions and choreo, and even have theme nights! We'll be working on single tab lyra. Appropriate for advanced beginners as well as intermediate and advanced students.Should have enough familiarity with lyra to know basic skills and be ready to learn a few new skills on the fly. Special Instructions
No cancellation fees, please do not come in if you are not feeling well (but please cancel your reservation or let us know by text). Wear comfortable clothing that covers the legs and upper arms, something easy to move in. You will not be wearing shoes, so bring socks in case the floor is chilly! We are located in the middle unit of the middle (2nd) building in our complex, with twinkly lights out front. At night only the street number is illuminated (sometimes) on the sign pedestal visible from the street, but if you hit a dead end you've gone just a *bit* too far. Our complex is just past the brightly colored complex (our buildings are slate blue). Our name appears on the pedestal out front and above our door. Please do not park in front of any garage but ours. Other than that, you can park anywhere. If you get lost or need to speak with us right away, please text (916) 752-8795.
