Pal Egan brings a decorated collegiate playing career, fresh coaching experience, and professional success to our athletes.She recently joined the UT Dallas softball staff as Defensive Assistant Coach. UT Dallas is now a Division II program in the Lone Star Conference, where Pal is helping guide the Comets through their transition to the new level of competition.This summer, Pal also continued her career as a professional softball player, competing in the Puerto Rico League. She turned in a dominant season, hitting .549 and earning League MVP honors.Before coaching, Pal wrapped up her playing career at the University of Florida, where she also earned her Master’s in Marketing. At Florida, she helped lead the Gators to the NCAA Tournament. Prior to that, she starred at Texas A&M–Corpus Christi, earning Southland Conference Player of the Year and Hitter of the Year in 2022 while posting a .369 average with 13 home runs, 56 RBI, and 48 stolen bases across two seasons. Her path also included standout years at Vernon College and a decorated prep career in Bakersfield, California.Pal’s experience as a collegiate star, professional athlete, and now as a Division II coach makes her a huge asset to our softball training programs. Note: Due to NCAA compliance rules, Pal cannot train high school athletes.
