  Class Description: How to Recover from a Fall Clinic – Empowering PTs & Amputees to Learn Together Hosted by The Amputee Center Join us for an invaluable and hands-on Fall Clinic designed to help amputees and physical therapists learn the essential skills of fall prevention and recovery. Led by Chris Doeger, a leading Physical Therapist and Certified Prosthetist from Ottobock, this clinic offers expert guidance and interactive training to empower participants with confidence and safety strategies. What You’ll Learn: Fall Prevention Tips: Master balance and awareness techniques to reduce the risk of falls. Safe Falling Techniques: Learn the best practices for falling safely if your balance is lost, reducing injury. Fall Recovery Skills: Engage in hands-on practice to recover from a fall efficiently and safely. Who Will Be There: Clinic Leader: Chris Doeger, PT & Certified Prosthetist from Ottobock Local Physical Therapists: Work closely with experts in interactive, hands-on sessions. Amputees: Gain firsthand experience and practice essential fall recovery techniques in a supportive environment. Date and Time: Lecture: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM  For PTs and PTAs.  Amputees Welcomed too! Lunch: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM Hands-on Clinic: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM Location: The Amputee Center This clinic is designed for both amputees and PTs to collaborate, share, and practice techniques that will enhance confidence and mobility. Sign in at 9:30 for a prompt 10 am start time!  We'll have coffee. Lecture scheduled for 10-12 am intended for PTs and PTAs.  BUT - amputees are welcomed and encouraged to attend the lecture.   Free Lunch for all from 12-1 Hands-on learning from 1-3!
