Mehrdad is a fourth year Molecular Biology and Biochemistry (MBB) student at SFU. He started tutoring after graduating high school back in his home country of Iran. After moving to Vancouver, his first step towards tutoring was to receive peer education and peer mentorship certifications by helping other students at SFU. Since then, he has 4 years of experience tutoring high school and university students around Vancouver. Mehrdad is also keen to mentor his students about their future long-term academic plans.When not focusing on studying new MBB articles or tutoring, Mehrdad loves to play soccer, solving codes for creative problems using the Raspberry Pi computer, and going out with his friends on weekends.
