Deirdre Rose (Covey) SarantesI was born and raised in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada. My family made Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, Florida, their yearly vacation spot, and it has always felt like a piece of heaven on earth!I am honored to be married to my husband Rudy Antonio and together we are raising our big beautiful blended family. I am an entrepreneur, a multi-business owner, and a devoted follower of Christ. After the COVID pandemic and the time spent away from my second home in Lauderdale, Florida, I decided to take a trip in August 2022. During this visit, I reconnected with my dear friend Heidi Neto, who is also my real estate agent, fellow entrepreneur, and sister in Christ. She introduced me to the church family at Calvary Chapel during this trip. Although I was a dedicated member of Regal Heights Church in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, I felt a strong calling during my first visit to relocate permanently to South Florida. Over the next year, I made several trips before officially moving down with my two youngest children on May 1, 2023. During this time, my husband proposed to me, and we were married on August 1, 2023, on Pompano Beach, Florida. We have built an amazing blended family deeply rooted in our faith. We are truly living the American dream.Entrepreneurship has always been a passion of mine. I am the sole proprietor of my renovation firm in Nova Scotia, where I employ many people. Within my company, I have successfully purchased and sold homes, as well as created a diverse portfolio of rental properties. I use these rental properties to provide a safe haven for women in need who are struggling after divorce or separation and require a place to call home. Prior to moving to Florida, I also owned a fitness studio that I built from the ground up to support women and their fitness journey for three years before selling it once I moved. Throughout my life, I have been committed to supporting many people in my community. I have dedicated myself to working with women who are facing various challenges, including addiction, burnout, divorce, and general life struggles. I have been coaching women on different levels for nearly 16 years. I recently furthered my education and became certified as Masters Christian Life Coach. I believe that with my extensive experience and the growing need for this crucial service, opening up a retreat to support and reach even more women is the next calling in my journey.I’ve been searching for the perfect place and location to embark on this new chapter of my life, where I plan to complete my “life book.” I look forward to finding a location that provides a welcoming and inclusive environment for women, making them feel at home.
