Youth Advanced

About the Class

The Youth Advanced Program is designed for those fencers who have passed the Youth Intermediate Program and now need to practice those skills with their peers under the supervision of the MFA coaching staff. As the athletes practice together the coaches will take the students aside as needed to work on any technical or tactical skill that requires attention. At this stage, students would have been sorted to specialize in either the foil or epee and our encouraged to begin competing in local competitions appropriate for their age and level. Equipment needed: Students at this level must own all fencing equipment and be attired appropriately for each class.
