Youth Intermediate

About the Class

The Youth Intermediate Program caters to fencers between the ages 7-12 who have completed the assessment of foundational skills in the Youth Beginner Program. Athletes will try their hand at foil or epee in a more challenging environment. Students are given a study guide of skills which will be covered and assessed each week. Upon completion of their skills, they will be invited to continue in the Youth Advanced Program.  Students at this level must own electrical fencing equipment and be attired appropriately for each class. The MFA offers in-house events and exchanges with friendly clubs to allow the students to compete locally. Questions about what to wear or bring to class?
