Jenny Edgington is a Licensed Independent Social Worker through the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board. She received her bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Miami University and her Masters in Social Work from The Ohio State University.Jenny has over 15 years of experience providing mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults. She specializes in working with adolescents and young adults in transitional periods of life, and seeks to provide a safe, non-judgmental place to build empowerment, decrease stress, and gain skills critical for managing life’s obstacles.At Grandview Primary Care, Jenny utilizes a mixture of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and other strengths-based approaches. She believes in utilizing a systems perspective, and works to help clients identify sources of support and strengthen relationships to create lasting, positive change.
