About the Appointment

The patented HaloRed O2 is the only product that combines both Salt Therapy and Red Light Therapy - all in one gorgeous unit! It features a dedicated oxygen concentrator, high wavelength panels, and additional red lights in the ceiling for a fully immersive experience. With two wavelengths of medical-grade red light and two wavelengths of infrared together with the power of salt therapy, this advanced system does it all. It delivers oxygen-enriched air and pharmaceutical-grade salt particles deep into the lungs and sinuses, helping to increase oxygen saturation, clear toxins, and strengthen respiratory health. Paired with red light therapy, it accelerates muscle recovery, boosts energy, and makes every breath cleaner and easier. Halotherapy Solutions' HaloRed O2 sets the standard for performance and recovery, offering the most powerful red-light therapy system available with unmatched value. What to expect... A typical 20-minute session in the HaloRed O2 involves the user entering the glass booth and closing the doors. Once inside the curtain will be drawn for privacy. You will be provided with protective eyewear to be worn at all times. Thin clothing exposing the arms and legs is recommended for the best absorption of the elements. Sessions last are recommended 3-5 times per week. NOTE: All electronic or mechanical devices must be stored while using the booth. A small locker with a key is available outside of the booth, and a small sealed container is provided inside the booth for small personal belongings. Be prepared to leave shoes on a shelf outside the booth. Clothing must be worn inside the booth at all times. What the Session Feels Like Users enter a private, enclosed booth. You sit or stand inside; this booth is wheelchair accessible. Environment: The booth is calm and spa-like, with no extreme heat, steam, or discomfort. You'll feel a slight, comforting warmth from the large LED red/near-infrared light panels (positioned on multiple sides for full coverage: deep red 630–660nm for skin benefits, near-infrared 830–850nm for deeper tissue). It's UV-free, so no tanning or skin damage occurs. Salt therapy: A halogenerator grinds pharmaceutical-grade salt into ultra-fine, breathable micro-particles dispersed into the air. You gently inhale them (often described as tasting mildly salty or noticing a subtle salty freshness in the air). The particles are designed to reach deep into the lungs and sinuses. Oxygen component: The system delivers oxygen-enriched air (higher concentration than normal room air), which may make breathing feel cleaner, easier, and more invigorating over time in the session. Overall sensation: Most people describe it as extremely relaxing, deeply calming, and stress-melting. There's a soothing ambiance, with the red glow creating a warm, rejuvenating feel. Some note subtle energy boosts or clearer breathing during/after. It's non-invasive, no sweat-inducing like saunas, and many find it meditative or restorative—ideal for unwinding. For the best results... During the HaloRed O2 session—particularly to maximize the benefits of the multi-wavelength red and near-infrared light therapy—clients should aim to expose as much skin as possible to the lights. The red light (around 630–660nm) primarily targets surface-level benefits like skin health and collagen production, while near-infrared (830–850nm) penetrates deeper for things like reduced inflammation, muscle recovery, and cellular repair. Clothing can block or significantly reduce how much light reaches the skin, so direct exposure enhances effectiveness. That said, clients must keep their clothes on or wear minimal coverage. The booth is private, but nudity is not allowed. We recommend: Wearing as little as a bathing suit, sports bra/shorts, or tank top and shorts to allow good skin exposure while staying comfortable and compliant. Going fully clothed (e.g., light workout clothes or casual attire) if preferred—many people do this, especially for their first session or if they're just focusing more on the salt therapy and oxygen aspects. Bring and use a towel to sit on if wearing minimal clothing. Light, breathable fabrics are ideal since the session is dry (no sweat like in a sauna), and any residual fine salt particles from halotherapy brush off easily without damaging clothes. Avoid heavy, dark, or thick layers if maximizing light benefits is a priority. Even with clothes on, you'll still get solid value from the combined salt, oxygen, and ambient light effects—it's an all-in-one relaxing experience either way.
