Mounted Archery Program Liaison
Central Texas Archery
Jessica started shooting archery while attending the University of Texas at Austin in 1986. She shot with the university club archery team, and her senior year she made All-American archer. After graduation, Jessica put away her bow and arrows to pursue her career and other hobbies. In 2020 (30 years later), she learned about Central Texas Archery and dusted off her bow to begin shooting again. In addition to Olympic Recurve, she shoots Traditional Archery. She also enjoys horseback riding and is putting riding and archery together to do Mounted Archery. She is a member of USA Archery, the Mounted Archery Association of America and the Eastern Contingent. She has earned the level 2 ranking in the Walk/Trot division and participated in one mounted archery tournament. She is also a USAA Level 3 NTS Coach. Jessica loves that archery can be a lifelong sport, and encourages people of all ages and abilities to participate in archery.
