My name is Carmel Meir. I am currently a freshman at Pace University, where I represent their swim and dive team. Currently, I am ranked number one on their roster and eighth in the conference. I have worked with kids since I was 16, as a swim instructor, camp counselor, volunteer firefighter, and Police Officer. I have played almost every sport possible, including ice hockey, football, soccer, wrestling, basketball, powerlifting, and swimming. I am most experienced with wrestling, powerlifting, and swimming. Throughout my swimming career, I have set a state record, multiple school records, been named swimmer of the week at Pace, and been named swimmer of the week in the conference. In the future, I would love to be in law enforcement, whether it's local or federal. The biggest joy I have is seeing my students progress not just with their physical capabilities but also as people and mentally.
