

This assessment measures how many calories your body burns at rest and how efficiently it uses fat and carbohydrates, supporting personalized nutrition, weight management, and long-term metabolic health. The test is performed in a fully resting state using the PNOE metabolic analyzer. For best accuracy, it should be completed after a minimum 3-hour fast, with no caffeine, alcohol, or strenuous exercise for 24 hours prior (morning is preferred). Your results will be available in 1-3 business days and will be delivered via a phone follow-up scheduled at the time of your assessment.
Pre-test Instructions: * Fast except from plain water for at least 3 hours prior to testing (RMR test only) * No caffeine, tobacco or stimulating drinks for at least 3 hours prior to testing * Avoid intense exercise (or any exercise of more than 1 hour) 24h prior to testing * The resting test can be conducted any time of the day, however the retest should be conducted the same time of the day as the initial assessment * Continue medications as usual * Arrive at least 10 min prior to the test so you can be relaxed before the test
