About the Appointment
NO ACUPUNCTURE TREATMENT IS PERFORMED THIS DAY. This is a thorough health history intake session with our case manager or TCM doctor who will review your health history, answer any questions you may have about acupuncture, Chinese medicine and our clinic. Can take up to 1.5hrs. Then, a Chinese medical exam will be performed and is required prior to your first acupuncture treatment. This examination is conducted by our Medical Director/Acupuncturist and includes investigation, observation, palpitation signs and symptoms including test results, but most importantly, looking at your tongue and feeling your radial pulses (tongue and pulse diagnosis). This allows the doctor to gather information about your physical and energetic body revealing the state of organ functions and progression of conditions. We also want to ensure we can help you, that you are a good candidate for our services and how to get the best results.
Special Instructions
Bring New Patient Intake Form - Acupuncture Consultation form along with any pertinent medical tests/blood tests/reports/basal temp charts and a complete list of all medications, over-the-counter meds, herbs, supplements and vitamins to your first appointment. If you are unable to print the intake form(s) or complete the form(s), attach to an email and send to officemanager@ewacupuncure.com ahead of time, then please arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled appointment time to fill it out in our lobby. We require payment for service at time of booking and a 48 hour cancellation or reschedule for full refund.
