About the Appointment
Dry needling (DN) involves inserting a thin filiform needle into muscles, tendons, and ligaments to stimulate muscular and connective tissues for management of pain and inflammation. Dry needling is not acupuncture. DN is a type of intramuscular therapy that can be used to treat pain and dysfunction in musculoskeletal conditions such as neck pain, shoulder impingement, golfer’s/tennis elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome, hip and lower back pain, knee pain, shin splints, ankle instability, and plantar fasciitis. Total time of this option is 2 hours, includes: DN on 2 areas (1 hr.) + 50-Minute Stretch Session. 2 Areas can include Left & Right side on back of Neck, Left & Right side of Lower Back; Left foot & Right foot; Left bicep & Left shoulder (front). Left and right sides are counted individually. Kindly note that dry needling is an additional charge. Stretch Session can be applied to current membership, package, or can be bought separately with the purchase of this modality.
Special Instructions
To ensure clients gets the allotted amount of time, please show up 15-30 minutes early for paperwork, waivers, and check-in. Kindly note that the 15 minute warm-up modality time starts BEFORE schduled session time and planning should be done accordingly. Please wear proper clothing in order for the Stretch Tech to give optimal treatment on area(s) desired. This can include tank tops, shorts, etc. You SHOULD NOT use this form of treatment if any of the following apply: Children 13 years of age and younger. Minors will need guardian’s signed consent. If you have compromised immune system or any acute immune disorder, diabetes mellitus, allergy to needles, or are post-surgical lymphedema or are not at least 6-8 weeks from post-operation of any kind. Friendly reminder that R³STRETCH has a 6-HOUR CANCELLATION and NO-SHOW POLICY on ALL SCHEDULED SESSIONS. Scheduled sessions must be rescheduled or canceled with a minimum notice of 6 hours before the scheduled session time; otherwise, the client will be charged 100% for the respective session. Failure to show for any scheduled sessions, the client will be charged 100% for the respective session. To secure session bookings, R³STRETCH requires clients to have a valid card on file. Timely cancellations and adherence to scheduled appointments contribute to the smooth operation of our services and enable us to accommodate other clients. Thank you!
