About the Class

Balance After Birth is a gentle yet empowering postnatal reformer Pilates class designed to support your recovery, rebuild core strength, and help you find your footing in this new chapter of motherhood. Babies are always welcome. We provide a safe, cosy, separate, but visible baby area within the studio so your little one can rest, play or simply be close by while you reconnect with your body. This gives you the freedom to move with confidence, knowing they are safe and settled nearby. We move at a steady, considered pace, focusing on breath-led core work, pelvic floor recovery, posture, mobility and functional strength to support everyday life with your baby. Every movement is adaptable, giving you space to listen to your body and rebuild safely at your own pace. This class is also a calm, welcoming environment where you can connect with other new mums. You’ll be surrounded by women navigating similar challenges, celebrating small wins, and rediscovering themselves after birth — a supportive community where you feel understood and encouraged. After the session, you’re warmly invited to book on to stay for optional social time. Enjoy a drink from the studio while you chat, connect and build friendships with other postpartum mums. It’s a relaxed space to talk openly, share experiences and feel part of a community that truly supports you.
