About the Class

Welcome to Mat Pilates with Irina and Melanie! These are casual classes and can be attended any time.   No previous experience required, the classes are OPEN level and different options are given to the exercises to help new students catch up. In these classes we will work on strengthening and toning your muscles, improving posture, flexibility and joint mobility. These are general workout classes and will target your arms, legs, back and abs. These classes are not only a nice workout but also a great getaway from your usual routine! NOT suitable for Pregnancies or serious injuries.  Please contact us first if in doubt. If you have questions, please contact us by email dance@dancewhanganui.com

Please bring: A mat A bottle of water Socks are required for hygiene reasons Small towel on a hot day Please note that these are general group classes and are not suitable for people with serious injuries or pregnant women. If you are in doubt, please contact your doctor for advise before attending.  If you would like to work on specific issues or PREGNANCY PILATES, we recommend one on one classes which we are also available for.
