Instructors who have gone through PhysicalMind Institute
Training program and have learned fundamentals of Joseph Pilates on
all forms of apparatus. These are instructors who have passed their
PhysicalMind Institute Exam and are officially licensed
instructors. They are not a master level instructor yet so you will
receive a reduced rate to train with them while they are fine
tuning their skills.

Pilates Studio

The
Firm Body Pilates Training Center is located in The Citadel Plaza
in North Scottsdale. Our 1300 sq. ft. studio is full equipped with
6 Stott SPX Max Reformers with Towers, 6 Split Pedal Stability
Chairs (with handles), 2 Cadillacs and 1 Barrel, as well as all
additional props needed to provide our students with every
opportunity to move successfully throughout their training
experience.
The
mission of The Firm Pilates Body Training Centers is to give our
student, whether a beginner or advanced, a safe place to practice
Pilates. It is our intention to keep the teaching of pilates safe
and effective for all students. It is incumbent for our teachers to
always act responsibly and with the student's interest in
mind.
Getting
in shape with Pilates is a path anyone an embark on, from the couch
potato to the uber-athlete. All Pilates exercises can be modified
to meet the needs of the individual. Whether you train with the
Pilates equipment or just the mat exercises, you can always adjust
the motion and intensity to your own personal level.

Pilates
is a progressive system. If you are consistent with your Pilates
training you will be adding new moves and increasing your stamina
and intensity with each workout. As you progress, you will find
that the pace of a workout picks up as do the strength and
stability challenges.
Whatever
Pilates style you prefer, working with an individual teacher is
recommended to help you design the best program for your intended
results.
