This class is designed for seniors who would like to improve their strength, flexibility, balance and core. The Reformer provides low-impact training on the joints while still providing a challenging workout. This unique class is performed on a specialized piece of equipment called the Reformer. Pilates Reformer movements vary in intensity with an adjustable spring load while at the same time being easy on the joints. The extra support you get from these machines will help to engage the deeper muscles that stabilize your joints.
Pilates Socks are required and are avaliable for purchase ahead of class if need. Please arrive 5 minutes early if this is your first time taking a class to introduce yourself to the instructor and go over any limitations you may have. A mini demo on how to use a reformer will be given before class.
