The Pilates School SF - Teacher Certification

My  first experience teaching pilates was 6 years ago in Palo Alto at a contemporary studio. I began teaching at Pilates V while completing the Pilates V internship training program led by classically trained Instructor Cecilia Pulido. Getting certified in pilates was only the beginning. I has also completed an associate degree in Kinesiology and multiple certification: personal training, corrective exercise specialist, and group exercise. I'm is a lead teacher.  I have a passion for teaching athletes or the fitness enthuists that is looking ofr Pilates, Strength and cardio training.   Being a strong athlete as a child and an adolescent, I have always had a passion for athletic movement. Athletic dreams ended after an ACL injury in high school senior year. When introduced to an online pilates class as a mother in my 30's she fell in love quickly with all the challenges and benefits pilates offers.Everyone should be doing pilates cause it improves the connection we have to our bodies. Resulting in better movement while reducing chances for injury. What to expect from you as a teacher is a class or private session?I wants to empower clients through my teaching by helping people discover how pilates fits for their body. I wants to help students see past viewing pilates through the small lense of pilates perfectionism and shallow fitness marketing schemes. You can expect hands on care and thoughtful feedback to help clients to keep searching for deeper connection to their pilates practice.
