About the Class

This class is intended for beginners and is designed to help you build a strong foundation in the Pilates method. This class is suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels and no previous experience in Pilates is necessary.  In this class we will explore the benefits offered by the Pilates Reformer.  The reformer offers all the benefits of Pilates including overall strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance. These benefits improve functional movement, allow for more efficient movement, and for many, relief from pain associated with physical imbalances.  The Reformer's unique pulley system offers a variety of exercises to target and strengthen the core muscles.  We will also discover how the Reformer improves flexibility and stability.
