About the Class

This mat class demonstrates information and practical techniques for your to-go (anywhere in the world) “toolbox” to allow you to re-calibrate your levels of mind-body stress/wellbeing any time you need.  This is the online mat-based variation of our playful, deep and rich experimental movement hour where we practice releasing mind driven creativity and observe and heed the guidance of the body's capacity to receive. Our benefits are always a calmer, more grounded nervous system. Less tension, aches and pains. Deeper fuller breath. Clearer mindsets and happier attitudes. Refreshed energy and a greater sense of connection to self, our rightful well-being, and the world around us. That's a lot. But we thrive on this practice. Special Instructions

Each student is required to have a small *bag of tools* and a roller before attending (please see equipment below and contact the studio to find out where to get it). PREREQUISITES: If must be pain/injury free or, at least, familiar with your issues and your body's responses. If you are not please reach out to prepare for these classes in a private session. Class requires a willingness to develop presence and follow your body's cues. No experience on the Reformer required but a private session is strongly recommended. Primary goal should be to increase your satisfaction by strengthening the relationship between your mind and body. These lessons are aimed at all levels (if you can get up and down from the floor you're all set) and will include use of a full MELT roller (36“), Melt balls, 4” Balanced Body Balls & a light and heavy theraband.
