Pilates Studio

Open Level Mat class. Client should have done Pilates before and
have an understanding of the Intermediate Pilates system. If you
have never done Pilates before, this class is not for you.
Instructor will teach to the level of the class.

by Joseph Pilates; what is today called True Pilates.

At Touchstone you will receive individual attention by a Romana’s
Pilates® certified instructor who understands how to tailor a
workout specific to your body and capabilities in an atmosphere
defined by energy and professionalism. Touchstone’s instructors,
Lisa Pellow and Heather Bartley, are the only currently accredited
Romana’s Pilates® instructors in Pittsburgh.

Regardless of your age, fitness level, or athletic background,
Joseph Pilates’ unique training regimen has proven itself for more
than 80 years as an effective and safe method of exercise when
taught and applied properly. When you train with Touchstone you
will be working on Gratz Pilates apparatus, the finest equipment
available, with designs based upon the original specifications of
Joseph Pilates.

An beginner class focusing on alignment & form. Learn how to properly engage your powerhouse, get stronger, toned and improve flexibility. Intermediate Pilates exercises added based on class progression.
