The Foundations class is the perfect introduction to the principles of the Pilates Method. We will focus on building not only a strong foundational understanding of your deepest core muscles and the power of proper breath connection, but also learn correct movement patterns for YOUR unique body. Each class will provide verbal cueing with plenty of hands on corrections to guide you along a slow flowing routine. This class is a great option for prenatal, postnatal, and postpartum mamas. Clients who are new to fitness and the Pilates Method. Clients who are post injury or surgery who are cleared to continue movement and encouraged to strength train as part of their preventative or rehabilitation plan. Skills Learned: proper pelvic floor activation, correct movement patterns and muscle recruitment, how to breathe correctly, techniques and cues to strengthen and lengthen the body so you can leave each class feeling stronger and taller.
