About the Class

A blend of the dynamic movements learned from Foundations and MVMT Pilates classes combined with the Pilates Reformer Jumpboard to create a high intensity, fun, results driven class. This class is perfect for someone who is looking to take it up a notch, a seasoned athlete looking to tick all of their cross-training boxes, and the workout enthusiast who just loves a good “BURN!”  Although each class offered at Shed Pilates and Fitness have been designed to improve muscle tone, bone density, strength, flexibility, balance, cardiovascular health, stamina, and focus this particular beast of a design brings some serious heat - and sweat! We will not only hit all major muscle groups with various movements, but also have an additional focus on accessory muscles to sculpt a beautiful shape to the body while raising your heart rate. Plan to be pushed both physically, mentally, and experience an “assquake” that will have you sore the next day! Due to the cardiovascular intensity of bouncing/jumping movements, please avoid this class if you are experiencing pelvic floor discomfort and spinal or heart contraindications. It is HIGHLY suggested to be cleared by your Pelvic Floor Specialist or Physician prior to taking this class. Special Instructions

Out of respect for others, the trainer reccomends having completed a Foundations and MVMT class prior to booking a Total Shred - Jump class.  This class builds on the basic foundational concepts such as co-contraction of the core's deepest muscles, balance, and stamina that will be led into more complex routines. Fast transitions are encouraged to keep the heart rate up throughout the entire 50 minute class.
