About the Class

The exercises performed in the class will complement functional tasks we do every day, including five main movements: bending (tying your shoes), lifting (picking up a laundry basket), single leg (climbing stairs), pushing/pulling (opening and closing doors), and rotation (putting on a seat belt). Exercises will focus on core, balance, and functional activities that will help improve muscular endurance and flexibility—primarily using body-weight exercises that concentrate on stability and mobility.
