Starting on January 8, 2024, it is preferred that you have at least 3 classes of prior experience before attending this class, please book “beginner pole fitness” if your schedule allows. Pole fitness classes may be combined with other levels if enrollment is low on a particular day. This class will include warm-up, conditioning, pole technique and “free dance” time. The bulk of the class will be spent on learning pole movements/tricks with safe technique. This is what some may think of as a “typical” pole class. Beginner level is for those who are brand new to pole dancing and for those wanting to spend more time on mastering fundamentals. A higher level beginner may be starting to learn how to do basic inverted movements with a spot from the instructor. One may be considered as “intermediate” level when they can invert confidently without a spot and are comfortable in many of the fundamental inverted poses. They may also be starting to work on other inverted grip types such as shoulder mounts. For your first class it is ok to wear whatever you are comfortable in for exercise, keeping in mind you might get quite warm. After a few classes you'll want to move towards wearing shorts. Class will be in bare feet, but sometimes socks are handy, so bring some along. Remember to bring a water bottle. *12 hours minimum (prior to class start) required to cancel as per policy - see website for more info* ***Please review Studio Policies and Etiquette on our website before your first class***
