Melt - Black Pole Community

About the Class

Get to know your fellow Black instructors and students at Awakenings in this safe, relaxing and fun class format specifically curated for black pole dancers and aerialists! This is an all levels class, so students from beginners to advanced are welcome. Students will have a quick guided warm-up, be given a goal or “project” to work on during class or given free time to refine skills, and then cool down with a little BYOB-friendly hang out and chat time. Crack open a bottle of wine and start your week off right with your pole and aerial family! This class is specifically for our students who identify as Black; however, we do have other pole jam opportunities for our allies who are dedicated to racial and social justice. Note: Snacks, drinks, and alcohol are not sold. Strictly BYO. Please refrain from eating or drinking prior to or during the fitness portion of the class. Off-equipment time will be reserved for the (food and drink friendly) hang out at the end.
