SITUATIONSHIP It’s not just a fling—it’s a whole thing. This all-levels pole class is for anyone who’s ever thought: I’m kinda into this…but what are we? Whether you’re new to pole or deep in the DMs with your inner pole dancer, Situationship is where you explore the in-between—building strength, experimenting with style, and leveling up your movement without needing to define it. Expect a blend of floorwork, spins, transitions, and flow sequences that flirt with challenge and lean into play. We’ll meet you where you are—whether that’s chaotic and clingy or chill and commitment-averse. No labels, no pressure. Just vibes, growth, and maybe a few feelings.
What to Wear + Bring Wear shorts, socks (half socks recommended), swimsuit bottoms, or polewear that leaves your thighs exposed—skin is key for grip! Socks help with flow, and sleeveless tops are encouraged to support arm contact on the pole. Please leave jewelry at home fam. Avoid applying lotion or oils before class—slippery skin makes gripping the pole more difficult (and flowy spins less safe!). Heels are totally optional—you can rock what makes you feel confident, grounded, and free to move. Pole grip is recommended for extra support. Dry Hands, iTac, and Chalkless are approved for use on our poles. Not comfortable showing skin? We’ve got you. We have one silicone pole in our space, which provides grip without needing exposed skin. It’s available first come, first serve. If it's in use, we’re happy to provide modifications to help you feel comfortable and supported throughout class. For the silicone pole, tight-fitting leggings and sleeves are best to maximize grip.
