Instructor
WREXX DANCE
Ashly grew up moving around a lot since her dad has been in the navy. When she was younger she did a little soccer and some gymnastics. She had to move so often though that it made it hard to stick to her activities. Ashly moved to Texas in early 2017 for work. She worked late shifts and felt constantly exhausted. She needed some refreshing change in her life. She was looking for something alternative to the gym. Eventually Ashly found aerial (then pole) and hasn’t looked back since.Ashly started her aerial training in 2019 with silks/sling then a tiny bit of lyra but after the pandemic she really wanted to get out of her comfort zone. Towards the end of 2020 she started pole and she loves it now more than ever! Ashly says that pole has been the best thing she has found for her physical and mental health. No matter what you are looking for (physical strength, confidence, support, flexibility, friendship, mental health, a new hobby, or just a workout) there's something for everyone in pole. In 2022 Ashly became a certified pole instructor. She keeps working towards her goal of becoming a stronger pole dancer and she hopes to share her passion and knowledge by teaching those interested about pole.Instagram: @ash_intheair
