I am a dedicated swim instructor with a passion for teaching and nurturing young swimmers. Since 2013, I have been a preschool teacher at New Discovery School in Seattle, where I have honed my skills in engaging and educating children. In February 2020, I began my journey as a swim instructor at Little Fish, combining my love for swimming and my educational background.My swimming journey began at Ballard Pool, where I not only learned to swim but also participated in the swim team, fostering my commitment to aquatic safety and skill development. I am CPR and First Aid certified, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all my students.One of my key strengths is helping nervous swimmers overcome their fears and reset their relationship with the water. I believe that with patience, encouragement, and the right techniques, every child can gain confidence and feel comfortable in the pool. I strive to create a positive and supportive atmosphere that allows students to thrive.Having grown up in a family devoted to education, with my mother running an in-home preschool for 20 years, I have a deep understanding of child development and the importance of patience and encouragement in learning. It is my goal to instill confidence and a love for swimming in every child I teach.
