Tennis Court Reservation for 1.5 hours

Special Instructions

Court Reservations Each member is responsible to book his or her own court reservations and may make only one reservation at a time. Reservations must include a minimum of two names for both singles and doubles bookings. Back-to-back reservations are not permitted and playing partners cannot reserve courts consecutively. Further, a court reservation cannot be transferred to another member. A member may make one court reservation per day. Couple or Family memberships may make up to two reservations per day. Once the reservation time has passed, the member can make additional same-day bookings, based on court availability. Members can book a court up to 72 hours in advance (72 hours from the specific time you are making the court reservation), we encourage members to familiarize themselves with our online booking system for court reservations and for booking-related services in order to minimize telephone traffic at the front desk. Additionally, Members can book a court via phone call. But, must adhere to the following limitations:  Phone Call court reservations will be accepted from 8:00 am and will end 30 minutes before close of business each day. These limitations are in place to allow our front desk to perform opening and closing procedures.   Court Online Booking Site To reserve your court, please login at https://www.themissionhillsclub.com/ Your email address is your username; however, it must match the email listed on your membership account. If you need to update your email address, please contact us at +1 (510) 656-2250. If you do not have a password or have forgotten your password, our support team can help you retrieve and reset it. When booking a court on the Wellness Living Website follow the prompts on court reservations and complete your booking request.   Guests Each membership may bring up to four guests per day. tennis members must register all their guests at the front desk (including Fitness Members) and pay the prevailing guest fee prior to play. Please note, there will also be an additional court fee for tennis court use where applicable. Guest fees must be paid at check-in prior to court utilization, and guests will be required to complete and sign a liability waiver form prior to play.   Court Prime Time Hours Prime Time occurs in the times of: Monday – Friday : 4:30pm-7:30pm Saturday – Sunday : 9:30am-12:00pm To ensure fair court time opportunities for all tennis members, each tennis member will be limited to a maximum of 3 tennis court reservations per week during prime-time hours. Ball Machine usage and solitary single-member play will require approval from the front desk during prime time and is permissible depending on court availability.   Court Check-In All members must check-in at the front desk for their court assignment prior to play or be subject to the Late Cancellation fee of $15. If you have not checked in within 15 minutes of your reservation time, your court may be given to a waiting member, and you will be charged a Late Cancellation Fee.   Late Cancellations Should you need to cancel your court reservation please notify us 6 hours prior to your scheduled booking. The primary member’s (booker’s) account will be charged a $15 late cancellation fee for cancellations made within 6 hours of the booking time. Multiple late cancellations may result in a 7-day suspension of booking privileges.   No-Shows Any member who books a court and does not show up for play within 15 minutes of the reserved start time will be subject to a minimum charge of $25. Additionally, after 15 minutes, the reserved court will then be released for open reservation. Excessive no-shows may result in a 30-day suspension of court booking privileges.   Court Etiquette All members and their guest(s) are asked to follow our Court Etiquette guidelines to assure a pleasant experience for all: Please wait for the completion of the point before entering and allow players to finish a game; if entering players are late for their court, the game in progress should stop. In tennis, while the next group of players is waiting during the final game, no-ad scoring should be used. Squash players should always knock prior to entering. Verbal and racquet abuse are not tolerated. In consideration of those on the adjacent court(s), keep noise to a reasonable level. If your ball rolls onto the adjacent court, do not run onto that court to retrieve your ball. Ask politely for the ball to be returned (e.g., “Court 5, the ball behind you. Thanks!”). If a ball rolls onto your court, wait for the completion of the point on the adjacent court before sending the ball back.   Tennis Attire Appropriate sports attire must be worn at all times. Swimsuits and bare feet are not allowed on the courts. Non-marking regulation tennis shoes are required on all courts.   Teaching Instruction is not permitted by any individuals other than authorized Mission Hills teaching staff.
