Lifeguards at a private event are responsible for warning swimmers of improper activities or danger and enforces pool regulations and water safety policies. They also administer first aid in the event of injury, rescue swimmers in distress or danger of drowning, and will administer CPR and/or artificial respiration, if necessary.  All deposits are non-refundable. This pays for the administrative costs for setting up the event.  For more information regarding schedling a lifeguard for a private pool party, please click here or call us at 954-247-1219.   HOST/PARENT RESPONSIBILITY Parents/Caregivers are responsible for their children’s behavior. A max of twenty [20] swimmers per lifeguard are allowed to be in the pool at one time. If the number of swimmers exceeds the host’s expectations, the host is responsible to monitor the number of swimmers allowed in the area designated for the lifeguard.   PAYMENT There is a $50 non-refundable deposit due upon submitting the schedule request.  After the event has been completed, the client will be charged the remaining balance on their account.  CANCELLATION POLICY  If the lifeguard does not leave for the event and early-cancels the appointment due to possible inclement weather (example: hurricanes, tropical storm, etc), the lifeguard will early cancel the appointment at no additional cost.  If the client cancels the appointment within 24-hours of the scheduled time, a cancellation fee of $50 will be charged to the client. If weather interrupts the event, the lifeguard will stay on site and monitor the weather and lightning to ensure the swimmers’ safety.  Cancellation example: If the lifeguard is present for 30 minutes, for example, and weather interrupts the party for the remainder of the time, the client will be charged $50 to pay a minimum of 1 hour to cover the lifeguard’s time and traveling expenses.
