This warm, all-levels class focuses on releasing tension and increasing flexibility in areas that may feel tight or restricted. Along with stretching the muscles, we target the body's connective tissues, including joints, fascia, ligaments, and bones. By holding primarily floor poses for extended periods, we create profound changes within the body. Emphasizing the depth of each pose, we spend time in stillness to observe and explore our sensations, and we transition slowly and mindfully to ease the body. This style of yoga also balances energy, enhancing overall well-being and offering an opportunity to release physical, mental, and emotional tension. It is a wonderful remedy for the everyday stresses we face!
