About the Class

  The Pilates method is a system of progressive exercise which stretch and strengthen the body in keeping with balance and alignment.  Mat exercises focus on finding the muscles of your powerhouse (core) to strengthen the spine.  If you are consistent with a mat practice you will reap the benefit of better posture, a strong center, suppleness, a toned body and an improved sense of well-being.
