About the Appointment

During a myofascial release massage, the therapist uses gentle, sustained pressure to stretch and release the fascia. This can help improve blood flow, alleviate pain, and increase flexibility. Unlike traditional massages that use deep, rhythmic strokes, MFR is often slower and involves holding pressure on specific areas for longer periods of time to allow the tissue to release and relax. Some key benefits of myofascial release include, reducing chronic pain, enhancing flexibility and range of motion, improving posture, reducing muscle tightness and helping with conditions like fibromyalgia, carpal tunnel syndrome, and headaches. Each massage session is a full 60 minutes.
