This class is designed to help you release tension, cultivate mindfulness, and restore balance in both your body and mind. Yin yoga is a slow-paced practice that targets the connective tissues, such as ligaments, tendons, and fascia, to enhance flexibility and promote relaxation. It involves holding gentle poses for an extended period, typically ranging from 2 to 5 minutes. This extended duration allows you to sink deeper into each pose, gradually unlocking areas of tension and encouraging a greater sense of ease within your body. In our Deep Stretch Yoga component, we focus on stretching and lengthening the muscles through a series of deliberate and mindful movements. By moving slowly and consciously, you will find an opportunity to release built-up tightness and improve your overall flexibility.
