*For all ages, levels, and abilities, Private
Swim Instruction is offered at30-minute sessions for 8 consecutive
weeks.  This class is designed to give students individual
attention without distraction from other
participants.

In 1927, Dr. Theodore Richards, former Principal of Kamehameha
Schools, envisioned a community center where people of all races
could come together as “one blood” or “kokokahi.” It was a
testament to YWCA Oahu's longstanding mission, “eliminating racism,
empowering women.”
Kokokahi offers the whole family a place to participate in
educational and recreational activities. Spanning roughly 11 acres
of waterfront property in beautiful Windward O'ahu, Kokokahi's
facilities include an event hall with functional kitchen and dining
area, a pool with locker rooms, open fields, classrooms, an
overnight lodge, cabins and a gymnasium.
YWCA Oahu's renowned aquatics program, as well as day camps for
keiki, are among Kokokahi's most popular activities. The site is
also home to a school for girls and a physical therapy clinic.
